Lake O’ The Pines is just 8 miles away. Across town, 18 miles away is Caddo Lake. Caddo Lake is Texas only natural lake. It has the world’s largest cypress forest. Many Cinema producers have been inspired to film many movies in Jefferson’s waterways due to these waterways being characterized by beautiful aquatic scenery created by Spanish moss which hang from Cypress trees. Lake O’ the Pines boasts beautiful pine. Many Nature’s lovers enjoy observing wildlife including eagles, on Lake O’ Pine.
